Students completing an NKBA Accredited Program and a monitored 160-hour internship/work experience in the kitchen/bath industry must submit an NKBA Graduation Verification Form to receive recognition of their achievement from the NKBA and to have their AKBD Exam application fee waived. These students will also qualify for one-year credit towards the NKBA’s Associate Kitchen Bath Designer (AKBD) or the Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD) certifications’ experience requirement.
